In the CollabAI ecosystem, the Guardian selection process is designed to ensure that only highly regarded and trusted Guardians participate in each investment pool. This selection relies on a scoring system based on investor feedback, which evaluates Guardians who have expressed interest in overseeing a specific proposal.

Attitude Expressions Toward Guardians

General users in the CollabAI network can express their opinions about any Guardian at any time, regardless of whether there is an active proposal. There are three types of attitudes that users can select:

• Aye (Approval)

• Nye (Disapproval)

• Neutral (No specific opinion)

These expressions help create a reputation framework for each Guardian, reflecting the community's trust level in their abilities and integrity.

Guardian Selection at Proposal Expiration

When a proposal reaches its expiration and is ready for activation, the selection process for Guardians begins:

1. Calculation of Guardian Scores:

   • For each verified Guardian who has shown interest in the proposal, a score is calculated based on investor attitudes. Only attitudes from users who have purchased shares in the investment pool will be counted.

2. Elimination of Low-Scoring Guardians:

   • Any Guardian whose total "Nye" votes weighted by the corresponding investment amount exceed their total "Aye" votes weighted by the corresponding investment amount will be eliminated from the proposal.

   • This threshold ensures that only Guardians with strong investor support participate.

3. Selection Based on Pool Limit:

   • Each investment pool has a maximum number of Guardians allowed. If the number of eligible Guardians exceeds this limit, those with the highest scores, calculated as Aye votes weighted by the corresponding investment amount, will be selected.
