Guardian
The auditor of GPU business and financial reports
In the CollabAI ecosystem, a Guardian plays a critical role in maintaining transparency, accountability, and trust within the investment pool process. Guardians are independent auditors, tasked with overseeing the activities and ensuring that curators adhere to the terms outlined in their on-chain proposals. By verifying the integrity of GPU-backed proposals, Guardians protect investor interests and uphold network standards.
What Does a Guardian Do?
Audit Investment Proposals: Guardians review investment proposals submitted by curators, examining documents such as GPU ownership certifications, business contracts, and cash flow reports. Their oversight ensures that all claims are accurate and verifiable.
Participate in On-Chain Verification: Guardians publicly indicate their willingness to participate in auditing proposals on-chain. Their commitment is a requirement for a proposal to move forward, and it signals to investors that due diligence is being conducted.
Report Findings: Once the audit is complete, Guardians provide a summary of findings on-chain, highlighting any discrepancies, risks, or confirmations of compliance. These reports are accessible to the community and investors, offering a transparent view into each proposal.
Initiate Liquidation if Necessary: In cases where a curator fails to deliver agreed-upon profits or violates proposal terms, a Guardian has the authority to initiate a liquidation process. This process involves liquidating GPU assets, and distributing proceeds to investors, protecting their capital.
Guardian Requirements
To qualify as a Guardian, individuals must meet specific criteria defined by the CollabAI governance committee, ensuring they have the knowledge, impartiality, and reliability required to conduct audits effectively. Guardians are also incentivized, receiving rewards for their services in the form of tokens, motivating their ongoing commitment to rigorous oversight.
By serving as an objective third party, Guardians contribute to the integrity of CollabAI’s decentralized investment framework. For more information or to apply as a Guardian, please visit the CollabAI platform.
